I normally don't like cream shadows because they tend to crease quite badly. But I was pleasantly surprised by how well this shadow held up, it didn't crease and it lasted all night long.
It comes in the classic black and silver box that is typical of the Party Lover line. When you pull it out you will notice that it is rather small and compact, one really great feature they added was magnets. My other eyeshadow/compact duo does not have that feature and while I love it I would never take it in my purse, nothing like powder on all your stuff to ruin your day.
The next level is four eye shadows as you can see below. A brown, copper, pink and white/highlighter. Sorry the picture is a little blurry, but I was in a hurry to leave that night and I wanted to take pictures before I used it. They are a really nice selection of colors, light and dark so you can play around with mixing and create new colors. As I said above they don't crease which is hard to find in a cream shadow.
In the lip tray you have a base (white), gloss with a light glitter (big light pink on left) a dark wine color with dark red sparkles, and nice pink color with light pink glitter. The glitter is not chunky. I actually prefer to mix the two shades for a nice going out shade.
I really like this product, great value for your money. I have no clue what I paid but I want to say it wasn't over 12,000 won? But I'm not sure, I give it a 5/5.

Tony Moly -Bubble Foam Cleanser- Three pack
I love Tony Moly and it doesn't help that when I go grocery shopping I have to pass a small shop on the first floor to make it to the escalator to the grocery section on the second floor. I have an addiction I try to avoid shopping too much, I don't think I succeed.
But that's ok I admit I have a problem and I look beautiful while I do. Lol, anyways I love cleansers and I adore ones that bubble. Bubble cleansers are usually nice and fluffy. These met that important feature. I've only used the Honey one and I'm sending my sister the Rice one, he he. When I'm finished with the Honey I will move on to Blueberry. Sounds tasty.
I really think this is a great cleanser, I've not had any problems with any Tony Moly product, the packaging is always cute and they always give me tons of freebies. I rate it 5/5 I think I paid around 14,000 but I'm not sure I have had this for over a month I've just been busy with work and life to post.
UPDATE: The honey had a light and sweet scent, blueberry was very fruity and sweet smelling, and the rice is a rather neutral scent.

Etude House - Happy Teatime - Lemon Tea
Etude House has a variety of cleansing options and I don't own that many of them, but I am a sucker for a sale. And now that I'm over my aversion to cleansing cream I'm shopping around for more. This comes in a cute big yellow and light yellow jar, the top lid has an adorable little teapot on it. You get 180ml per jar, which is very decent. They do have two other scents milk tea and green tea.
Package description and instructions:
Cleansing Cream's creamy texture contains lemon extract to remove dirt and makeup while keeping skin moisturized with the pleasant fragrance of tea.
(Directions) Apply cream to all areas of face. Massage thoroughly and wipe clean with cleansing tissues or rinse with warm water to remove excess.
(Caution) For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Discontinue use if signs of irritation and/or rash appear.
Well I can certainly smell the lemon in the cream but I don't really detect a strong tea smell if any. But I love lemon so it's fine with me that it is the stronger scent. The cream is nice and thick, very rich and cleansing. It doesn't leave a residue which makes me happy, and the scent is not over bearing.
The cost is 4,000 won each but I paid 3,600 for it with my discount. Or about 3/2.80 in U.S. dollars. I give it a 5/5. Great product.

Etude House - Magic Crystal Pack Peeling
I love face cleaning products and I love peeling products. Why? Because it helps you get rid of all that dead skin that is clogging up your pores and leading to ugly skin.
I use about 6 products in a rotation because I like the different effects that each have. Also I like to tell people I use all the stuff I buy.
Now first off I do not have sensitive skin. At all so I have to offer a nice warning to ladies who do. I love to read other blogs about Korean makeup and my favorite is Lotus Palace she also blogs about Japanese makeup too. Here is her post on her use of Magic Crystal Pack Peeling: http://lotuspalace.blogspot.com/2008/09/etude-house-magic-crystal-pack.html
As you can see it is very creamy and you can see some of the particles in this picture. Also it has a perfumed scent I still can't remember what it reminds me of but I find it pleasant. So how do you use this product. Well I put on about a quarter sized drop and then I massaged it in for a few seconds. Then you leave it on until it dries and then rinse it off with water. I use a wash cloth to remove it just because I like to be extra clean. It does have a drying effect so you might want to follow up with a moisturizer. It cost 11,000 won but I have a discount at 9,900 won or about (8.60/7.75) in U.S. dollars. I rate it a 4.8/5.

Etude House - Sweet Appleade Collection
I just adore Etude House the girls who work there are always so nice and even when we can't always talk they somehow help me out.
So I noticed they had a new collection for summer I had to have it. I really like this product the scent is sweet like a granny smith apple. Really refreshing and nice not over powering and I have yet to detect a hidden scent. You know how sometimes you wear a lotion or perfume and at the end of the night it smells weird. With this product I have not encountered that problem.
Slim Body Gel (Sorry it's blurry)
Supposed to help slim the body and provide a cooling effect. Also with some slimming gels it has a gross slimy feel this one absorbs completely. Also I feel really fresh afterwards I don't know if it's actually slimming or not but I like it anyways. It costs 7,000 won so I got it for 6,300 won or about 5.40/4.90 U.S.
Body Wash
Same great scent great washing power. It creates great bubbles and a little goes a long way. I really like it for my summer body wash. It costs 6,000 but I paid 5,400 or about 4.70/4.20 U.S.
Body Lotion
A very nice body lotion not too thick, not too thin. It was just right in my opionion and it helped with my dry heels. It costs 6,000 but I paid 5,400 or about 4.70/4.20 U.S.
Body Scrub
This is a great body scrub it has thick grandules in it to help scrub off all that dead skin. You should use your hands and scrub until grandules disolve. It costs 7,000 won so I got it for 6,300 won or about 5.40/4.90 U.S.
Foot Spray
Used to deodorizer and freshen feet all day long. I use other products for this but I thought it would be nice to try out the whole collection. It was very cooling and I didn't have any odor at the end of the day. I wear sandals mostly so I don't really have odor that way. I will have to try it out with the really old sneakers and see how well it fares. It costs 4,500 but I paid 4,050 or about 3.50/3.00 U.S.
So I love the whole collection I give it a 5/5.

Missha - M Vita B.B. Cream SPF 20
I just adore B.B. Creams they were what was missing out of my life in the United States. I have to say if I was ever to leave Korea I would be really sad.
So I decided to try out one of Missha's B.B. Creams, it can be hard to find one that matches my light skin tone. Also I prefer something light and not too heavy as I have really great skin with just an occasional blemish.
From the box:
Missha M Vita B.B. Cream with skin protection, moisturizing effects, covering effects as well as UV protection relieves you from extra makeup, and contains natural extracts that offer natural soothing effects for sensitive skin. Nano vita complex, a vitamin complex, enhances skin's vitality; and ATC complex, a skin soothing ingredient, helps protect skin.
From the tube:
It contains 7 essential vitamin complexes derived from natural ingredients that help to improve the skin. Also it is multi-functional and convenient to use to moisturize, protect, and correct skin tone and block harmful UV rays.
Directions: After basic skin care, apply an appropriate amount evenly to the skin according to skin complexion and finish with powder. For enhanced covering effects use foundation after B.B. Cream.
So I felt like this product had a lot to offer and it does deliver as promised. It evens out my tone and makes me look like I'm not even wearing makeup, it is light so as to not make you feel weight down. Also I like how well it matches that it just blends in with no problems. It only comes in one color so if it doesn't match unfortunately you are out of luck.
As you can see it blends in and gives you a sort of glow, as you can see on the edges I didn't finish blending to give you an idea of what color this is by it's self. I unfortunately will have to add that swatch of the foundation later I forgot about it. It is a great B.B. Cream my favorite so far.
So what do I rate it 5/5 at 11,800 Won it is about 9 dollar U.S. which is not bad for what a great quality product it is.

Missha - Facial Choco Cacao Scrub
I really like chunky scrubs because they are great at removing blackheads and other pore clogging material. Also they help remove dead skin cells and leave your face feeling smooth and clean.
I really like chocolate because it's so yummy. So when I saw that Missha had a chocolate scrub I knew I had to buy it. It comes in a nice heavy glass jar that looks classy, I hate really cheap looking packaging.
As you can see the scrub is nice and thick and it has visible granules of sugar. It has a simply delicious scent of really good chocolate. I have to admit that I even licked it a little as the jar says edible, it tastes great too. But I'm not going to eat anymore this is for beauty use only from now on.
After I scrubbed about a quarter size drop on to my face I let it sit for a minute or so then I wet it down a little as it is a rather dry mixture and when to town scrubbing. The mixture lacks the usual heavy oil that most companies add to scrubs of this kind here in Korea. After I dried my face I was amazed at how soft my skin felt and how clean. I still followed it up with a cleansing foam just to make sure I didn't leave any behind.
This is simply a great product it has a great smell and a great scrubbing power. It's granules are not too big or too abrasive and they dissolve at the perfect rate. The scrub cost 9,800 Won at $7.75 U.S. so not a bad price either for such a good product in such nice packaging. 5/5

Missha - Procure 365 Hair Mist - Fresh Flower and Sweet Fruits -
I'm always looking for some new perfume mist and I really liked these when I found them. They are made for hair. But I also use them to give a little scent to my clothes. They come in three scents Sweet Fruits, Fresh Flower and Green Aqua. I didn't buy Green Aqua because I didn't really like the scent. They come in cute little spray bottles in orange, pink and green.
I have used sweet fruits for some time and it is almost gone so when I went to Missha the other day and I decided to try out fresh flower. They are both nice scents that completely remove the smell of smoke and other smells one might pick up on day to day life.
They cost 3,800 won each or about $3 U.S.
5/5 they are a nice product and they don't break the bank.

Missha The Style Eyeshadow Case and Eyeshadow
Missha sells eyeshadow that is sold prepackaged as well as loose. I like the loose ones because I can create a palette that fits me. I don't like light colors so much but I am warming up to pastels as they are in style here right now.
So I bought the case that held four large and four small ones. It also includes a large mirror for only 5,000 won or about 4 dollars U.S.. So it won't break the bank.
The eye shadows I mixed and matched to make a rather unique palette. Of blue, black, purples and greens.
Top: The blue as you can see below is a very vivid blue a robins blue with a shimmer of green to it up close. The purple is a two set of a light lilac purple with a deeper purple they have a light pink shimmer to them. The orange has a light peach and a light orange with a fine white shimmer. And the green is a dark khaki green with a fine green shimmer. The blue and green cost 3,500 won the purple and peach cost 4,200 each. Very reasonable.
Bottom: The black has a silver shimmer added to it and I tend to use it as an eyeliner. The purple has pink/purple shimmer added to it. The green has fine green shimmer to it, it is rather lovely it just didn't photograph that way. The last is a pale green with a fine gold shimmer added to in, it is a really lovely pale color. The bottom row only cost 1,500 won each.
So all in all my palette cost 26,400 or about 21 dollars which is rather high but I got 10 colors out of it and I didn't have to waste space with colors I didn't like or want. I give these eyeshadows and palette a 4.8/5. I rated it a little lower because of the cost.

Missha Cleansing Cream Foam Three Set
I love Missha they are so cheap and they always have something on sale. So on Friday I popped in to help my friend do some shopping and did some myself. While I was checking out I saw a three pack of something behind the checkout girl and I was like how much is it? She said 5,300 won, hum only like 4.20 U.S. so I took it.
It was a three pack of face cleansers they are Aloe, Lemon and Pomegranate. Each contains 120 grams of cleanser. They have some pretty packaging with photos and fun Korean writing. Most of Mishha's items have English and Korean but this has only Korean. I don't really care one way or the other but it is nice to have English sometimes.
I used the pomegranate one because that was the one that was the one that fit my mood. Plus I thought the lemon was quince and I really didn't want to put that on my face. It is a very creamy rich foam cleanser and it left my skin feeling clean but not stripped.
I rate this product a 6/5 why? Because it was so cheap and such a great cleansing foam. Also I'm a sucker for a good cleanser.

Nature Republic - Soap Wort Water Selection
So I wanted to review a new makeup company that I stumbled upon on Friday, well in truth I stumbled upon two I'm just haven't tried any of the other companies products that I bought yet.
So I love cleansers but normally I stick to two or three and rotate between them. But my skin has changed since I moved here and it is a little drier now, yay! So I decided to try a cleansing cream which I have always been a little scared of the word cream. It just sounds nasty and thick, but to my surprise I loved this product.
It was so light and fluffy and so divinely scented that I forgot my fear of cream. Also avocado and lime was something that I miss eating so killing two birds with one stone. It was a life changing moment for me, I usually stick to my guns when I make a decision.
But boy am I glad I changed my mind this once. I rate it a 5/5 for cleaning power, lovely feeling skin, and lovely scent. It cost me 5,800 won or about 4.60 U.S. a lovely price to go with it.

Missha Hot Burning - Part 3 - Body Patch
The Body Patch the last step in the process, some might think this is optional but it is for areas with a high fat concentration.
Package ingredients:
Bitter orange extract, caffeine, peppermint oil, and capsaicin.
Directions:
Rip open pouch remove two patches and remove backing apply to dry areas to remove cellulite and fatty deposits (works for 8 hours).
Contains 16 x 2 patches, for more enhanced cool feeling store in refrigerator before use.
Review:
I applied the two patches to my stomach, I thought about doing my butt but in the end I didn't really want them stuck on my ass. So I liked how they really stick on where you apply also they have a pleasant peppermint smell. Some people might think they are a lot like Icy Hot patches.
I have hope these will work if nothing else I stuck a patch on for nothing but they are rather cheap and I go two for free with purchase of the gel and scrub so I'm not out anything if they don't work.
I give them a 5/5 because they are pleasant and cooling and I don't feel annoyed by them. Price for the 1 pack (containing 2 patches) is 3,000 Won so around 2.40 U.S. isn't an unreasonable price to pay if it makes you a little thinner in the process. UPDATE: I did see a reduction in my stomach area. YAY!

Missha Hot Burning - Part 2 - Body Gel
Part two lets start off with packing information and directions.
Body shaping gel for streamlined body silhouette. Sounds nice....
Contains:
Bitter Orange extract , caffein (I'm thinking caffeine?), menthol, and capsaicin. It gives you a cooling after effect and helps design your body line by adding elasticity to the skin with healing effect.
Directions:
Apply an appropriate amount to dry areas to reduce cellulite and fatty deposit by massaging it in. (I edited it as it was Konglish) For a better effect use morning and night and exercise after applying. In summer if you want an increased cooling effect keep in refrigerated.
*skin redness may appear but this normal.
Volume 200 ml
My review:
So I used the body scrub and then dried off and waited like 15 minutes before applying this gel. I have to say I didn't feel the heat but it sure was cold, I was really cold. So I actually wrapped up in a blanket for a half hour before I got dressed I was that cold and it was 70 here today and I didn't have the air conditioner on.
I do think that would make it rather pleasant to wear it in the summer but today it was a little to much, I am hot natured so normally I don't really worry about the cold. I never really did feel hot, it was more of a warmth at times so it was pleasant and comfortable. So after the coldness went away I didn't mind the gel, I will say this was not enough to make me hate this product.
I wore the product all day and went out shopping, I was aware at times that I felt like I was sweating but I just brushed the thought off it wasn't that hot. Well I was sweating, as I discovered when I went home to change for bed. And it wasn't a little it was a lot, I had to wipe myself down. So that was a little gross but at the same time I know the product worked.
I give it 5/5 despite the coldness and the sweat, at 9,000 won it is about 7.20 U.S.
So the price is right the product appears to be working I will keep you updated about how it is going over time.

Missha Hot Burning - Part 1 - Salt Body Scrub
This part 1 of a set of body products from my current favorite store Missha. Hot Burning is used to help reduce and remove cellulite with heat and cold.
Salt Body Scrub is the first step in the process.
Box Information:
Contains bitter orange extract, peppermint, tourmaline, caffeine, menthol and capsaicin. It gives a cooling after feel and helps design your body line by adding elasticity to the skin with heating effect.
Directions for use:
1. Apply an appropriate amount on wet skin, gently massage in a drawing circle motion (circular motion) then remove with water.
2. 5 - 10 minutes after shower apply gel on body for a better affect (sorry it was Kongrish so I rephrased it in English).
3. Use 2 -3 times a week
Do not use on sensitive skin (face, and lady or men parts). Also do not use on cut skin or after shaving. Keep cap clean to prevent clogs with salt residue.
Skin redness may appear after use and is normal with a salt scrub.
My review:
I really liked this product it is a fun pink and the salt is the right size to make it a nice scrub, I really liked the cooling affect and the smell of the product. The smell might be a tad strong for those who don't like strongly scented products, it smells like peppermint and musk.
I give it 5/5. Good value for the price 11,000 won around 8.70 U.S.
Salt Body Scrub is the first step in the process.
Box Information:
Contains bitter orange extract, peppermint, tourmaline, caffeine, menthol and capsaicin. It gives a cooling after feel and helps design your body line by adding elasticity to the skin with heating effect.

Missha Dot Blending Shadow in GR 01
I really like green right now if you couldn't tell, lol. This is a beautiful eyeshadow that is a mix of blue, yellow, green and gold. It is a beautiful color in the little case, normally Missha doesn't sell eyeshadow in cases so I really like this one for that. Instead they tend to sell really cheap loose pans and pretty cases. I plan on buying some of those soon.
This comes in a gold pan with a clear case. Very simple but elegant packaging, you do have the option of taking this out of the case and recaseing it.
Here is the swatch as you can see it becomes a lovely green with gold flecks in it a truly lovely color to wear in the Spring. I paid 8,000 Won for it which is about $6.30 U.S. a very reasonable price.

Missha Dual Eye Tip GR 01
I was shopping yesterday at the 2001 Outlet (also called Kim club) and noticed a store I had not shopped in before Missha. I liked their products as well as the price. One of my coworkers did tell me they maybe are going bankrupt but I'm not really sure.
This is an eyeliner and eyeshadow duo in a light green. A lot of companies in Korea are doing pastel colors for spring, I usually don't wear pastels but when in Rome.
And here are the swatches the darker color is the eyeliner the lighter the shadow.
I do wish the shadow was a little darker but everyone told me how beautiful this was when I wore it to work. I paid around 4,200 won for this so it was a steal at around $3.30 U.S.. The U.S. ones cost $10 each, what a price increase.

Tony Moly Trio Eyeshadow # 3
I just adore the packaging on this. It's simple yet classic, with a beautiful ivy pattern printed on the lid. It has three colors a blue, silver and a white.
It is not an even split which I would have liked, or even the blue being the biggest part would have been better to me. But still I really like this eyeshadow trio.
As you can see the split is half the 2 quarters. I'm sorry I'm harping on this but the white is so light its a weird color to give the majority to. Also I really like the colors and they are a shimmery metallic. But they look much more vibrant in the package.
So when I got home I expected something that was going to be a night club item and got something I could actually wear to work. I can get it pop like I expected but I have to wet the colors and I don't always want to take the time to do that.

Tony Moly - PartyLover Fashionista Shimmer Lover Collection - Brown
This was my first venture into Tony Moly. I decided to try some new things and branch out a little bit from my usually shopping.
It comes in a nice compact with a large mirror on the front. The compact opens like a fan which I could see some problems with the design. I would not put this in my purse for fear it would open and break.
The first part of the compact is a lovely powder. It is a perfect match for me but someone paler or even a little darker it wouldn't match at all.
The second fan is a 5 part blusher/highlight/shadow combo. I don't really wear blush and when I do it is light. They are lovely colors that have a shimmer but are not grainy with glitter.
The first is a white, then a light pink, a dark brown bronze color, then a pink/red bronze and finally a dark brown.
I use the dark brown as an eyeliner, the two dark shades as lower lid eye shadow depending on what I wear that day. And the pink and white as an upper lid color.
The last tray contains a compact sponge and a brush for blush/lids.
A great buy at 18,000 won (around $13 U.S. at purchase). I bought one for my sister and once she gets it I hope she will also review here too.
